The place to be if you are a Port wine fan or about to become one. All leading Port houses present their new releases and mature Ports. Taste over 100 special category Port wines in an elegant but relaxed environment and get information directly from the Producer’s importer or the oenologist himself. In recent years, Port fans from more than 15 countries have visited the Portweinmesse. It already has cult status among (Port) wine lovers.In addition to the great Port houses, the following German producers will also be on scene: Markus Molitor, Bassermann-Jordan, Nik Weis, Theresa Breuer, Niepoort Freunde and Schloss Lieser.

MASTER CLASS on 4 decades of winemaking in the Douro-Valley:

Taylor/Fonseca/Croft’s head enologist David Guimaraens will introduce you to the specials and challenges of winemaking in the most beautiful wine region in the world. Steep terraces and temperatures well above 40° C demand everything from the winemaking-team. Experience the major changes over the last 35 years and taste the breathtaking Vintage Ports from David as we move along.
